The hotel is conveniently located about 15 minutes away from the LAX international airport (depending on the traffic).
In case you don't want to go to LA on a regular basis and just want to go to Santa Monica and other cities, it is very good; however if you wish to see Hollywood and around, the hotel is a bit too far.

The hotel serves a very basic breakfast which is included in the price of the room. They can probably add a few more items in the breakfast.
The rooms are good and comfortable. Though they are a bit old and the decor needs refurbishing; overall, they are comfortable and nice. Since the property is on the main road, if you hate the traffic noise, you might not like it.

The
real star of the hotel, is it's staff! Very courteous and gracious,
trying to help out the guests always. In fact, the service commitment
was as good as the staff of any 5 star hotel.

If you want to be near the sea-beach (Venice Beach is 20 minutes walk) and have a cosy vacation with your partner and the intention is not to get lost in the melee of LA or Santa Monica; there are bright chances you will like this hotel.
