Masti franchise is back with the third film in the franchise, Great Grand Masti. The writer loved Masti; but found Grand Masti to be gross; though the film was a massive hit clocking in 100cr at the Indian box-office; what's in store for the Masti team with Great Grand Masti, let's analyze. The first thing that hooks the audiences is the story given out in the
trailer; the guys are spooked by a ghost this time (ok a sexy female
ghost).
The guys are in total control of their act and the girls (so what if you can't even recall their names), ooze the right sex-appeal. Smaller parts are perfectly cast - look at the timing of the veteran, Sanjay Mishra, towards the end of the trailer - pitch perfect!
Unlike the last installment, this film doesn't seem very gross; instead balances the fine line between a sex-comedy & a vulgar yarn. The film is a surefire hit and given the right release span - should surely hit the 100cr club at the Indian box-office. Though, Dishoom on July 29 will give it stiff (haha) competition. Get set for your fun date, July 22 2016.
